Review on 💧 Powerful White General Electric MWF Refrigerator Water Filter for Crystal-Clear Hydration by Johnny Murphy

I bought a GE refrigerator in 2013. Since then all replacement water filters have been purchased from Revain and I have always purchased the originals. The experience was pleasant until the last time. I bought one in March 2016, it came in a plain white box. I started using it on June 6th. Filtered water tasted strange, worse than unfiltered. I thought maybe the filter needed a little time to settle down. Ten days later I couldn't stand the taste for long and rushed to the local Lowe's. The one I bought from Lowe's came in an unopened box as shown in the attached photo. I carefully compared the Revain filter to the Lowe filter. They were almost identical except the ink was slightly different. After installing a new filter, the water taste became right immediately! I have been a regular customer at Revain for many years. This case really surprised me. I hope Revane investigates this. If you can get a "real" GE MWF filter in a plain white box, man, you might be in the same boat as me.
