Upgraded my computer from 1600 to 2600X and I am very satisfied. My average PUBG frames increased from 120 to 134 and mine is 1070ti. While it's great for gaming, I'm working on my own AI model building framework and that's where this kid really shines. If you like working and playing, this processor comes highly recommended. Thermal paste pre-applied to the cooler works great, but if you plan on overclocking I highly recommend a liquid cooler as it gets very hot. There are many complaints about high temperatures online, make sure you use AMD Master Utility to check temperatures (or look in your BIOS) - applications like Speccy (at the time of this review) report temperatures around 20 °C higher than actual .
