Very easy plug and play installation; Installation on my 1998 FXDL took only 10 minutes and the only tool required was the included hex/hex wrench; (I recommend watching a few YouTube installation videos beforehand so you know exactly what to expect, so it only took me 10 minutes: no fuss or mess); Processing and fit could not have been better; It's still winter here in Colorado and I've only driven about 2,000 miles with this light so I can't comment on the bulb life cycle, but Osram (Sylvania) are considered the best chips; this device seems to be as good as the OEM HD for a fraction of the price; Save your old lamp and you have almost nothing to lose! MUCH better than the standard OEM bulb and uses less power leaving more for my GPS, phone and heated gloves! Now, after the sale, I want to replace the bulbs in my National Cycle lightbar.
