Review on 🚗 iCarsoft Professional MB V2.0 Multi-System Auto Diagnostic Tool - Compatible with Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter/Smart, ABS, SRS, Oil, BLD, INJ by Michael Morgan

Out of the box I really liked this code reader. I have a car based on the W210 and W251 chassis and didn't have high expectations when I read the W210. But for the W251 so far this reader has been useful for diagnosing an air conditioning problem, reading coolant pressure and providing more detailed information than I could diagnose without a visit to the shop. It also detects minor malfunctions in non-CEL ancillary systems like sunroof sensors, which is very useful. The device looks quite good, the buttons feel solid, the menu navigation is tolerable. The manual isn't particularly helpful or well-written, so I had to learn how to go. I hope I don't destroy anything while fiddling around, but now I've figured out how to read OBDII codes, read codes from other systems, save those codes to the memory card that came with it, and then pull it up to see what projects I'm coming up with high. . The machine paid for itself almost immediately as I was able to tell my mechanic exactly what services I needed to perform, which is why I only call it a bonus from now on. However, that was all for the W251. If you have a W210, don't expect too much - it reads OBDII functions through both the OBDII port and the 38 pin port, but I couldn't get the unit to read any functions other than that. Disappointed but it was no surprise. Overall I'm very pleased so far and hope this device will continue to let me know of enough small issues to justify the cost. It's so much cheaper than a STAR reader or some of the more expensive scanners that it would be almost foolish not to get one, and I'm glad I bought the specific MB model instead of the multi-auto one that does looked. would be a compromise to be able to read all important subsystems of MB vehicles. At this price compared to the store cost, I might buy another one if I get a different make of car in the future.
