I bought the "Bong" hand pump model and it's certainly well made. The main mechanism of the pump is metal, the body is made of thick durable plastic, the base is a thick piece of rubber. overall just well done. But he has an annoying problem. When I used it for the second time, it no longer held any pressure. The air is returned through the pump cylinder. With some effort I unscrewed and disassembled the pump. Look, the one-way valve is a small piece of rubber that fits through a hole in the base of the cylinder. Well, this piece of rubber was pushed out of the hole and broke the seal. All I had to do was reinstall the little bug and it worked great. The design flaw is that I think this will happen over and over again. Note: Also tighten the relief valve. I had an air leak when I first used it. This thing is actually great to use - as long as you have the right adapter for your car! They don't make it easy to find which adapter fits your model year. The standard is too big for my 2004 Grand Cherokee, but I attached it to the tank tight enough for it to work well. Here's how it works: you empty the tank until there's just a little bit left at the bottom, and then you fill it up. up to the maximum line with fresh liquid. Then attach the adapter to the hose and pump until the liquid reaches the end of the hose, remove the adapter and attach it firmly to the container, and then reattach the hose. This will remove air from the tubing (like a syringe). Increase the pressure to 10-15psi and when the liquid drains, this device will automatically replace it and keep it at the maximum level line. Note: If air escapes, the tank will overflow. Bought a Subaru adapter separately. EXPENSIVE! But again very well done. Fits perfectly and snugly on my 2012 and 2013 Subaru. I subtracted a star for poor adapter selection and occasional minor maintenance needs. Overall I'm impressed with the build quality and with the right adapter it just works. Again, this is for a bong-looking model.
