This comb is excellent for blow drying and straightening. I always get the best results with this brush. Before that I used an electric toothbrush. It did a good job but was difficult to hold onto for the half hour it took to dry my hair and didn't leave some parts of my hair smooth and smooth. i have weird hair One side is straight with a slight wave, the other side is very wavy, and the back is like a corkscrew under a layer. This brush effortlessly takes care of all three areas and gets the job done. It's as close to perfection as any brush I've ever owned and I've had many. The description says it detangles hair well, but it didn't suit me. I still need a good comb for that, but it's really handy for blow-drying. The instructions say to dry your hair 80% and then blow dry it. I wrap it in a towel for about 45 minutes and then use a hair dryer. It takes less than 10 minutes and I have thick, unruly hair. It's really easy now. The right brush is of great importance. I wear a sleep cap at night because I use a CPAP machine. My hair doesn't get tangled or tangled and even after using the cap at night my hair stays straight and I don't look like a wildebeest in the morning. I only wish I had had this brush in high school and college. For the price this is a great brush and it does what I need it to do. If you know someone who needs a good brush, buy this one. It is packed in a beautiful box, perfect as a gift. I'm groggy and have brushes and combs all over the house so I'm buying at least one more to make sure I have it when I need it. If I find other brushes, I throw them away. Why settle for second place? This is the goalkeeper.
