To be fair, the micro USB connector, while convenient, isn't the most durable tablet connector if you want to use your tablet while it's charging. Microsoft OEM cables with a right-angle connector like this largely solve this problem, fitting snugly into the tablet and pretty much preventing the connector from moving. Unfortunately, this particular charger has a slightly longer USB connector, so it doesn't fit snugly against the tablet, but protrudes slightly, allowing the USB connector to "wiggle" in the socket. When it comes to a secure connection, it doesn't beat a regular straight plug. Although the charger itself seems normal.
