Easy assembly (homemade). The shelf needs to be a bit wider and the ledge at the back is too high for the cables on the back of the Blu-ray/Apple TV/cable box, so I flipped the shelf so the ledge is down and the beam can match the back flush. Another modification I made was to repurpose the 28.5" shelf from my old media stand and stand it on two legs off the floor to create a second shelf (attached with strong Velcro and perfect for ) for the to create a cable box. The floating shelf was too small to comfortably hold the Xfinity DVR. I also got these brackets so the soundbar can be attached to the TV and "float" underneath. In an earthquake, I'm pretty sure this sturdy stand won't tip over. Very happy with it.
