Many complain about the noise, not to mention the best part of this fan! Strength. If you max this villain out, the wind will literally blow in the room. That's great! And exaggerated in most situations. Keeping the fan on medium or medium speed will cause the ceiling fan to make a normal noise level. Still ok at full throttle. Yes, you can hear the fan running, but there's no metallic noise, clicking or anything else. This is the sound of air movement. And you can't calm it down I have two and am ordering two more for my Season 3 room. There is no other fan in this price range with such a slightly industrial look in this matte black finish.
