Review on EA Performance Hang-On Power Filter - for Aquariums up to 55 Gallons - 220 GPH - Non-China Manufactured by Melissa Lewis

At first I thought this was a good buy. The filter actually works great as far as keeping my aquarium clean. Unfortunately, about 3 weeks after installation, I noticed my carpet getting wet under my 60 gallon tank. The water in the filter basin rose so high that "spit" flowed out of the back - small amounts of water, initially imperceptible, but very noticeable after the water had continuously seeped away. I have two filters on the tank (the other is from a reputable company) so I removed that one. My rug dried in about a day and I haven't had any problems since I took it off.
