Overall these boots work well. I bought 3 pairs just before the polar vortex hit the midwest in 2019 for my chihuahuas and 2 corgis. The Chihuahua weighs around 10 pounds but has very skinny chicken legs, while the Corgi weighs 25 and 35 pounds. As previously mentioned, Velcro straps are very long and may need to be trimmed. That's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. They just need to be worn a lot. But the velcro helps keep them on those little feet and I'm not entirely sure I want to cut them off. In terms of functionality, all three could get outside and successfully go about their business in boots without getting what we're talking about. sick paw. They walk in weird shoes, but they get used to them, especially if we distract them with food. I'm happy with these boots and glad we have them for us, especially living in Wisconsin where temperatures can get pretty cold. . I would recommend these for dogs with longer legs as they can stay on their feet thanks to the large number of velcro straps on each boot. Corgis find it difficult to keep the boot in place as their legs are short despite the amount of Velcro.
