The inverter was purchased to replace a pair of Prosine 2.0 inverters that I have been using in my system for the past 20 years. Prosine inverters are no longer manufactured and are very difficult to repair. The last one cost me over 800€. So I decided to try this 120/240V split phase Signeer inverter to replace two series of Prosine Twin inverters. I'm happy to report that Signeer works very well for some issues. Signeer is not a programmable inverter like Prosine. They have two custom DIP switches for your application, but you're limited to what's listed by battery type and they don't provide user input. This worked for my setup with the agm battery location on the selector switch. I have a set of LIFEPO4 batteries with a capacity of 800 Ah. I charge them with a 13.7V solar panel and swim. Using the AGM setup on the Signeer, I charge them to 14v, 13.6 float. I rarely have to charge on a generator as solar power is very good here in Colorado.
