Review on πŸ›οΈ Dream On Me White Mesh Security Rail: 15 Inch Safety Guard for Peaceful Sleep by Tessa Dolan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A good safety rail in the right situations.

My daughter is fed intravenously, so the central drip is connected to the backpack. She rolled out of her crib a few times and my wife and I were paranoid that she would snap her rope so we bought this crib. At first I hated it. The way it works is that the strap goes under the mattress. There is a piece of metal at the end of the strap that fits between the mattress and the box springs and should hold the slat in place. Your crib mattress is so light that it's not heavy enough to hold the piece of metal in place. She slipped between the railings a few times and landed on the floor. For us it was even more dangerous than the alternative. What I did to make this rail work really well (and hopefully help others) was just ignore the metal part and attach the strap to the opposite rail/bed frame. Now the rail will never fall off. It's very strong and she could put all her weight on it and it wouldn't move. I suggest avoiding this bar unless you have a heavy full-size mattress or a way to attach a strap to the opposite side. Bed.
