Doesn't work at all.
They ended up in the bin because they shouldn't have been sent back. You are not working. What happens is that the hair gets stuck under the part that is at the top of the drain (petal) and clogs the water. The hair hardly gets into the needles in the sink itself as a result. So it grabs the hair, just grabs it before it has a chance to go down the drain. I regularly had to tear my hair out in the shower.
