This unit worked on my B6 car with a non-Bose system. The supplied line adapter is well suited for rear speaker operation. I was very disappointed with the radio signal, even after adding an antenna adapter with an amplifier. It was ok because I really rarely listen to the radio. I had some other issues which I will list below. The device takes a long time to boot up. I forgot the time, but it's somewhere between 75 and 120 seconds. It's a long wait. I don't know why it's taking so long but it's the most annoying thing that made me return it. Apps load slowly. Once you've downloaded one of these it works pretty well, but when you're trying to launch a maps app or a music app like the Spotify or SirusXM app it's a pain. If you are looking for a system to replace yours and you are desperate, if you are patient you can get this one.
