I bought this CD player from Jensen so I can listen to CDs while I'm around my apartment. I wasn't looking for an impressive system, I was looking for something that 1) can be wall mounted, 2) can play CDs, and 3) has an AUX input (1/8 inch or 3.5mm), if I want to stream music via mobile phone or computer. For the price, a great CD player/radio/additional input device. It is very easy to mount on the wall (simple drilling required) and has an amazingly good sound despite its design. Speakers are detachable . and a stand is included in case the user prefers to mount the device on a table surface. The remote control contains a new battery, so it is ready for immediate use. Even though my device stays on the wall, I can easily lift the screws and take it anywhere without touching any tools. Very convenient. I especially like the CD ALARM function. I use this player to wake me up in the morning instead of my crappy** cell phone ringtones that just annoy me. before my eyes even open Every morning I wake up to a CD no matter how loud I set it the night before. improved my quality of life haha. My only complaint is that the player automatically inserts a short moment between each track on the CD. I have several albums that don't have a gap between some songs, but the player still inserts gaps between them. Doesn't break the deal, but it's a bit of a deal breaker if you expect one track to continuously flow into another. While the digital display has a nice blue glow, it can be difficult to read unless you look at the device for a bit. My player hangs on the wall at about eye level, and most of the time I can't tell what track number I'm listening to. However. Aside from these minor flaws, the Jensen CD player exceeds my expectations at this price point ($40). Anyone who says they "expected the device to be bigger" should have read the dimensions. Anyone expecting "super-amazing sound quality" from a $40 block of plastic has no idea real speakers even feel like it. You need a simple player in the children's room or in the kitchen? Need an easy-to-use player for your class or a granny who doesn't like tech? It's hard to beat this $40 Jensen player.
