My dog loved this food until he died of heart failure. My vet asked me what food I was feeding her and winced a little sadly when I said it was only 6 Rachel Ray. He had a lot to say about Rachel Ray's brand of dog food. He also said that high sodium was a direct cause of congestive heart failure, then pulled out his charts and showed me sodium levels versus other foods. I was heartbroken, now I'm just angry! Surprisingly, I can only find this information at the veterinary office. Please, please, please, before you buy this food, go to a veterinary clinic and ask for recommendations, ask for the tables given out only to vets. I can't believe I fed my dogs this poison for years thinking I was providing them with healthy nutrition.
