I bought this CD player to use in our car. We have listened to 2 audio books so far and the sound is good but could be louder. We need to turn up the volume of the car and turn the CD player up to maximum volume. It is annoying when 2 cables are connected and there is no suitable place in our car to mount the CD player except on the floor or on the laps of the passengers. That would be the case with any CD player if we didn't buy Bluetooth. My biggest complaint is that the buttons for controlling the CD player's functions are small and cramped. To replace a window at night or in poor light conditions, you must switch on the side lights in the vehicle. I'm going to paint the "Play" button white, hoping it'll be easier to see. Remember that unless you have a car that drives itself, there is no safe way for a driver to change windows while driving. This CD player requires two hands to open it, eject the disc and insert a new one.
