I bought these to use in my garden specifically for watering plants and replacing bird baths. Your hands stay dry, there are fewer blisters and you can also use them for weeding, although I have other gloves for that. The reason I have different gloves is because my hands are very small and I have a hard time pulling weeds when the gloves are a bit big. I bought them 3 times because I made a mistake and used them for my succulent garden. Spikes are hard to get out of anything.
