Review on π’ Raymarine ST1000+ 3.3-Ton Tiller Pilot: Advanced Autopilot for Smooth Sailing by Ham Channell
Overall ok but some issues
This is a replacement for the ST 1000 I bought 20 years ago. It introduces the same calibration settings but not quite the control stability that the previous one had. I found some calibration settings that seem to work, but for some reason this autopilot wants to make sharp left turns and gets unstable from time to time. Still trying to figure out what the problem is.
