Review on 🖱️ Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse - White, Hero 12K Sensor, 12,000 DPI, Lightweight, 6 Programmable Buttons, Long Battery Life by Tim Sterling

I've been using the G Pro for last year and I love the shape so when I saw the G305 it's a wireless G Pro I am very excited. I'm a longtime ambidextrous mouse user (based on Logitech's original oval mouse, Sensei/Kana Steelseries, etc.). Unlike the Razer Lancehead versus its wireless version, which I seriously considered, the Logitech G305 did NOT sacrifice sensor performance over the G Pro, to my relief. It also has a long battery life, so performance-wise it's definitely everything I expect from a mouse. How does it compare to the G Pro? Movement and precision feel the same. There are very minor button differences between my G Pro and G305 copies that I don't consider as issues/cons. The middle click is harder to click on the G Pro. However, scrolling is smoother on the G Pro. Right and left mouse clicks are slightly louder on the G305. If I have to be clear, the G305 has a higher tone. The two side buttons feel a little more recessed on the G305. Using the included Duracell AA battery puts a lot of rearward loading on the mouse. Switching to an AA lithium battery reduces the weight, but it's still heavier than the G Pro. With lithium and the lid removed, the mouse finally feels balanced. In fact, it is normal to use without a case. However, I will be using a AAA lithium battery with a AAA AA holder to keep the weight down and keep the mouse balanced. This should make the G305 almost as heavy and feel like the G Pro. It's as perfect as a mouse I could wish for after all these years.
