Because they choose not to publish my evaluation on a certain popular website, I will keep it stored on this one instead. To tell you the truth, I am taken aback by the enormous amount of favorable reviews that have been left for this product, which has been incorrectly referred to as a bracket. There are no concerns regarding the body of the structure, which is made of a matte alloy that is pleasant to the touch; the mount on the table is substantial and has been able to withstand the load thus far; the gas lift functions appropriately; however, the joints of the rotating parts are inexcusable. During the installation, I discovered that the lower swivel mechanism rotates with a great deal of difficulty. I loosened the bolt, but it didn't help; I had to unscrew it, and then I saw the cause of the failure (photo below): pieces of metal from an improperly processed pin for the bolt fell out! There is not the slightest trace of grease, and the plastic sleeve and washer rub dry against the metal! I unscrewed the upper connector; other from that, everything is the same except that there are no longer any metal bits. After giving everything a thorough cleaning and reassembling the component, I gave it a suitable coating of heavy cycling oil. I thought that this was the end of the jambs for this product, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. After suspending my not particularly heavy 5.5 kilogram, 27-inch monitor on the mount, I observed how it securely pecked down (photo below). I foolishly disassembled the inclined mechanism in the hopes of discovering a spring or another component of a similar nature. What is there is a nut, a bolt, two large washers, and that is it. Regardless of how tightly I tightened the bolt or which washer I used (one was more convex than the other), the monitor cocked down all the way. It is not simple because the bolt has a significant amount of tightening torque. If you combine this with the fact that the monitor's latch mount to the product is made of plastic (by the way, the mount itself is also made of plastic), any remaining reservations you had about purchasing this product will immediately vanish.
