The plastic base is ridiculously cheap and I expect it will break after a few battery changes. however still ridiculously happy with the "candle" itself. It has a lovely soft orange ambient glow and while no one would ever mistake it for an actual candle, the lighting effect was just what I needed. The dipping cone also works well to mimic the diffusion of light through the wax, which no other battery operated candle I've bought has been able to match and it really helps make them look amazing.
