Review on Folkulture 12 Inch Mango Wood Incense Burner Holder With Green Agate - Stylish Home Décor Accessory For Insence Sticks by Tammy Marie

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This is not made of a suitable material for incense cone, stick, palo santo, or smudge burning IMO.

This was a beautiful incense burner until my daughter burned a cone on it. It now has a permanent burned 4mm intention. It is completely destroyed and it’s because of the high gloss wood appearing to be ceramic. It’s not ceramic and can not withstand heat of any more than a match. In fact, there are places where she needed to extinguish incense sticks, like one would a cigarette in an ash tray, when she needed to quickly leave. These instances also permanently marred the surface. There are burn marks all over this tray in a short time. In fact, it really makes no sense, at least to me, why someone would make a wood device to burn things with. But that’ll teach me not to read snd to go by the photo. It really looked ceramic. I personally don’t usually write reviews unless there’s a real positive (above normal review expectations), or a real negative. I would consider this to be a real negative (below regular expectation). I gave this to my adult daughter as a gift. She was so happy with it snd is so disappointed now. I don’t consider this to be a good gift, unless you want to be heartbroken by disappointing the recipient.
