I read the reviews on this and wasn't sure if it would last long or even cook the rice properly, but I bought it because of the price and size. Coming from an Asian family and used to having these big fancy Asian rice cookers so the Revain brand I was really hesitant. Functionally, the thing is great. Perfectly cooks rice, also can cook a huge amount. Comes with a steamer basket that I can put frozen dumplings or veggies in while the rice is cooking, everything works fine. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the top lid where the steam comes out. It looks like it's loose at the top, but that's not even a problem. Just stick it back in case it falls off when you open the lid. It literally happened to me once, it was yesterday. So yes, I am more than happy with this purchase. I can highly recommend 😄
