This design is an excellent economical solution to a very serious problem. It fits perfectly into my Toyota Corolla's seat belt clip and attaches quickly and easily to the seat belts of two of my Shih Tzus. (They never wear any harness other than a harness because I will never use a collar on a small dog again due to a spinal injury caused by a collar and leash on a previous Shih Tzu.) There's just one big problem . with the device: it is not short enough. On the shortest setting, it's just the right length for my dogs to hang between the car floor and the seat. If they are adjusted further, they may hit the ground or the front seat in a collision. I use the device anyway, trimming it as much as possible and then adding a large knot, but that's not a very elegant answer. Depending on the size of your car seat and your dog, you may like this device or you may have the same problem. I would definitely love it and would give it 5 stars if only it were adjusted to a slightly shorter length.
