Save $250 and instead of paying $365 for this 6K BTU air conditioner because it's quiet, just buy it a 2K BTU unit for $100. . It's quiet, but only because it has no electricity. In comparison, this unit ran at full power/cooling all night and the room was quite warm in the morning. The same sized room further down the hall had a crappy tiny AC which was a bit noisy but didn't disturb sleep in any way and the room was COLD. HIAR ac does NOT match the description. I sent it back after one night. Went to Home Depot, bought a GE a/c 6K BTU, which was quiet enough for $179. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY COOL with something different. Also if you have double hung windows with storm windows this design won't work for you as the vents are at the top - ODD. It was designed to replace windows.
