Performs its functions, nothing unusual.

I brought a friend with me to take the test for wine 10, and the driver is a sio4all 22022. As I personally own a Focusrite Solo 2nd generation, it is possible to make a comparison between the two. Let's begin with the most significant drawback, which is the delays. The driver is able to reduce the buffer size to only 256 samples in order to prevent the sound from being garbled. However, this 23 milliseconds of processing time are perceived far too clearly in order to typically record vocals. On the guitar, this is already less noticeable, and it is relatively comfortable to play—that is, as long as you are not paying attention to the background noise. If you are, however, paying attention to the background noise, the guitar can be somewhat uncomfortable. This is exactly the problem with the card itself, as it does not depend on the emulation, the program, the guitar, or the knobs on the card, and it only develops as the overall volume is turned up more. It is a continuous noise, but it does not seem to be a consequence of the amplification process; rather, it seems to be something else. If, on the other hand, you plug in the bass, then this disadvantage becomes practically inaudible, so keep that in mind. The sound quality is fairly decent when using the headphones, although at high frequencies it can be quite grating. The phantom power on my UM2 AT2022 microphone worked faultlessly, resulting in speech and vocals that were crystal clear and easily understandable. We pay a total of three thousand dollars for a card that emulates the sound of a guitar, creates sound that is superior to the one that is integrated into the system, and enables voice recording at a resolution that is suitably high. And the quality is satisfactory enough considering the price. Although I believe that the user interface is adequate for novices and students with limited resources, I will not encourage using it. It is best to save up for something more respectable rather than to put up with all of the drawbacks of the current situation. Nonetheless, it is strongly recommended that you come into the store and try it out for yourself.

Pros
  • Phantom power, the cost, and the quality of the sound.
Cons
  • Plastic housing, lengthy delays, the effect actually gives out only 16 bits, noise while simulating a guitar amplifier; I would like higher boost for instrument and microphone inputs.
