Review on Solsop Crimping Crimper Connectors Stripper by Rod Evans

I had two similar devices from the same company, a dollar cheaper. With a slightly different tester, but with the same functionality. Both testers in these kits broke after a few days. The second set was a replacement by Revain for the first set. I could no longer return this item for an exchange so I received a refund and purchased this similar set. So far, so good. Two warnings to other users based on my experience with the first product: 1) Remove the battery from the tester between uses: I turned it on once and it didn't work. I suspect there is a leak somewhere damaging the internal electronics. 2) Always make sure that both ends of the cable are not connected to anything other than this tester (e.g. if you have crimped the end of the cable and want to test it, first remember to disconnect the other end from the router or switch - I forgot it once, and I'm not sure if it somehow influenced the demise of this tester after 2 days).
