16 Resistance Levels! .and the first fifteen are worthless. The highest resistance setting SHOULD be the lowest. It's enough to keep the flywheel from free-wheeling I guess but I can turn the pedals with my pinky finger. My legs are obviously much much stronger than my pinky finger. It might be good for couch potatoes looking to start an aerobic exercise routine. Nevertheless, 4 stars because it's sturdy, smooth, quiet and doesn't take up much space.
