Good tool, especially for the price
Pros: Inexpensive, fairly accurate, easy to use, real-time reading for scanning, comes with batteries, turns itself off, saves battery power Cons: Beeps after Definitely worth the money so far. I don't know how accurate it is at the higher end of the scale, but when calibrated with ice water it was at -0.5°C instead of 0°C, but accurate enough for my purposes. The emissivity is adjustable, but don't get tired. They give a small table for the materials you need to customize (aluminum, glass, etc.) if you wish.
