I don't recommend it as the XT camera cannot stay attached to the mounting clip that attaches to the back of the camera. If your camera is exposed to any outside elements, there's a very good chance you'll find it on the ground soon, as I've experienced on a number of occasions. After a few drops I tried the tape around the camera port, felt more secure, but fell off the mount again two days later. Try something else instead, or stick it to the mount with silicone, maybe that works as long as you don't have to take it off?
