Fits my corgi pup well and looks so cute on him! :) Definitely real leather and metal, but not super heavy. Soft like suede. Much better than his old tattered nylon collar! This one looks like it will last longer! I've seen a few comments about the clasp. We must be lucky, it's a good strong one! My only minor complaint is that the red color is slightly purple. However, it doesn't look like it on the pictures and it's still very cute on our little guy. Thanks very much! Update a month later - still holding out! We even attach a leash to the collar. The color of the collar does run, but turns its fur pink. photo to show. I would like to deduct 2-3 stars because of unwanted painting.
