Very cheaply made. Buy another brand.
This product seems to be an example of how cheaply many Chinese products are made. The ends of the optical cable were so poorly made that they didn't even stay connected. So I'm returning it and buying a different brand. It will probably cost more but hopefully it will work since this one is useless.
