Review on Innovative Performance Programmer Nissan Xterra by Sean Bouchard

Two stars because the customer service is EXCELLENT (otherwise I would have given 1 star). The instructions didn't explain how to connect it to Xterra, but CS did. However, CS's explanation differs from that of some Nissan technicians online, who also explained that this device would damage the ECM and void the engine and emissions warranty. Not just one tech - multiple techs said so. The funny thing about their guide is that the instructions say to disconnect the negative cable from the battery, preferably overnight. This ensures that the ECM loses the learned programming. I unplugged it for 21 hours, canceled the install, reconnected the battery and got a 5% increase in mileage.
