Doesn't last long

I originally gave it a positive rating with a few minor comments, but now that my kit is almost literally falling apart due to age I've had to adjust the rating. First of all I work in IT and fortunately have used the baby perfectly for the last few months since buying it, but I also have to say that it was basically a magnetic pad, metal? Tools and a set of screwdrivers. Plastic tools barely had time to use them once before they dulled to be useful again. I actually once used a suction cup to replace my laptop screen which was fun. To the best of my knowledge and belief I have taken care of these tools, they are kept in my bag which is one of Dell's thick thermal laptop bags. durable and heavily padded not to damage anything inside if the bag falls. And when they're not in my bag, they're on my desk at home or at work. Despite this, the tools unexpectedly start to detach, the case has been falling apart since I bought it, and the rubber in the screwdriver set that holds the bits seems to have all the labels faded, the plastic caps for the tweezers have just started to crack. randomly although I've never used 2 of them etc. I recommend this set for short term use but honestly if you expect long term use of the set you are probably better off buying all the individual tools you need and a bag for it instead. If not, then the iFixit kit is a much better buy. As time went on I became more and more aware of where the corners were trimmed with this product and I know it's only a matter of time before the bits or other tool break while I need it. I no longer recommend this product, but the first few months have been really great.
