Installed on my 08 Silverado. The red lights are pretty cool, they're amazingly bright and easy to see. White light is definitely bright enough. Although not very focused. If you stand behind and to the side, basically your blind spot, the light is very bright and can be a problem for other drivers. Of course, I've never ridden behind me, so I'm not sure if the corners match, but when I'm standing at the back, the light is dazzling. But it lights up the car nicely. Perhaps this is a net benefit as it can keep people out of your blind spot. Edit: Updated to 5 stars. I have a slightly different perspective sitting behind my truck at night in low ambient light. Lights up the plate really well. The light doesn't lack focus so much as it simply illuminates everything around it. I'm just getting happier. Can't beat not so affordable mods
