Review on WEIDA Upstream 2011 2015 Chevrolet 213 4764 by Brandon Rogers

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rated but doesn't look good

No rating for this sensor. I replaced it with this brand on my 2013 Chevy Volt and as soon as I started the car a bunch of errors came out and the engine was unavailable. The car runs out of gas. I thought it might be because my scanner didn't give me a chance to relearn the GM recommended O2 sensor heater thresholds, but I doubt that would actually cause any problems. It was taking a long time and I asked the mechanic to do a relearn procedure even though it wasn't indicated to fix the errors. After that I drove the car and after a thousand miles I'm now getting engine misfire errors, bad catalytic converter, both O2 sensors are bad too. It's a bunch of problems. I don't know the cause but all I can say is that prior to the installation I only had one bug where the original O2 sensor had a delayed response time. Now I have multiple CEL codes, bad catalytic converter and multiple engine misfires. It looks suspicious that everything went downhill immediately after installation, literally the first time I even started the car. I'll update this once I get to the root of the issue. Right now I regret the purchase and wish I could just go to the local store.
