I saw other reviews bragging about how great this cap is so I gritted my teeth and ordered it. It fit perfectly and I was still able to show off my Jeep grill while providing enough coverage for all my windows and roof. Snow fell and then the temperature dropped. Another day of snow followed and another drop in temperature. This morning, after the temperatures have risen, I remove the awning and notice a little moisture on all the glasses, including the windshield. I'm going to remove the cover from the roof of the car and I can't. HE STARTED! It was frozen on top of my car! I had to get into Spider-Man in my Jeep and scrape the lid off with an ice scraper. I finally had enough to get a good grip and just brute force it out, leaving part of the cover behind. I would not recommend this cover for severe winters and don't think it is actually "weatherproof".
