10 years old on my car, this is the third time I have had hard idling and acceleration. I was pretty sure it was cylinder 4 again and if so then the problem is a bad wire causing the ignition coil pack to be short. The misfires were very severe, I was close to home, I parked it, ordered this OBD2 reader and it arrived within 2 days to confirm my suspicions. I fixed it for less than a hundred dollars, including this reader, without having to tow my car or make the misfires worse. My only complaint is that the cord is only a few inches shorter for comfortable in-car reading.
