Review on P3 Kill A Watt PS 10 Surge Protector: P4330 by Terry Brendemuehl

Cheaply made, abnormal voltage shutdown is too sensitive.

: After less than 6 months the device stopped working. As soon as you plug it in, it starts beeping constantly (even if nothing is connected to it) indicating that the input voltage is abnormal and nothing is downstream. Stay away from this electrical abomination. The power consumption information this device provides is useful, but overall it feels cheap. When you pick it up, everything seems empty and the sockets won't connect unless you wiggle it and try hard. The sag/swell cutoff, while good in theory, is overly sensitive and calibrated well below the 13% specified in the manual. This causes it to keep shutting down even when the voltage is quite high.

Pros
  • Displays max/min volts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options. UPDATE
