Im impressed. The build quality is similar to Apple products. As an engineer I appreciate a simple, compact, clean and durable design. I love that the wall sockets covered by this 1" thick adapter are mirrored on the front, as are the 4 side sockets for attaching cables and adapters to the wall. My laptop's power adapter fits perfectly into a side outlet that sits flush with the wall. and is much less prone to bumping or falling. Regular power cords and USB power adapters fit perfectly in side sockets. Large wall outlets may not fit in side outlets because they're close to the wall, but front outlets can always accommodate them. I've used similar adapters that screw into a hole in an outlet cover and they don't. But if your outlets are in good shape, these adapters will stay in place. The 3 lower sockets are only connected to the lower plug, as well as to the upper sockets and the plug. This is another simple and thoughtful design option. So if you have an outlet where one of the outlets has power and the other doesn't, you can use this adapter. pter have 3 switched outlets and 3 unswitched outlets. Selling two outlets for $12 is a reasonable price, allowing the manufacturer to offer them for $6 each, which is hard to beat. You are cozy. You will use both.
