The hardware could be great. May be. To use it you need to download a modified version of Raspbian or Kali. The modded OS is hosted on mega.nz (a site notorious for film piracy) and the site is trying to trick me into signing up for download only. Even if you go to Smraza's own website, you will be redirected to mega.nz. They have a website but they don't even host their own modded operating system which is required to use all the features of the items they sell on this website. All this is really dubious or at least amateurish. held in place with 2-sided tape on the GPIO header connector (amateur) and mine didn't even come with any tape (shadow). This is so often a problem with these third-party Raspberry Pi peripherals. The hardware can be great, but the support is poor (if any) and the small details are overlooked and it turns good devices into almost useless junk. If you buy this item make sure you get the software to make it work before paying good money for it. Once those mega.nz links are gone, this thing could be completely useless. If you load this thing into standard Raspbian results (when it actually shows anything other than a blue screen on boot - which only happens about 25% of the time - which could have been a legitimate hardware issue with my screen), the Landscape screen. and none of the usual config file tricks fix it completely. display_hmdi_rotate=1 rotates it but doesn't fix the resolution, leaving the bottom half of the desktop invisible and the right half of the screen blank. Too bad I didn't skip my window to return this item. It might come very close to decent, but the gimmicks of third-party operating systems (perhaps) negate a lot of the hardware design work.
