After reading the reviews I had high hopes that I would use this product as an aid to people with disabilities. I have a walking disability and can't stand or balance to put it on or even sit in a regular chair to set it up. I've got a bit of paralysis and some arthritis in my hands and it took us two to get even a sock over the bars because it's so wide. We couldn't even pull on a regular oversized sock, let alone a pull-on compression sock. If you have disability issues this may not work for you. It also had a notch in the rubber cover, so that's the downside that worries me. I've read in reviews that getting it back isn't easy, so I might just have to stick with it.
