The muffler hangs almost 2 inches below the rear bracket on my 2006 Honda CRF230F. I couldn't and didn't want to force it, so I made a small extension "clamp" out of a 3" x 2" piece of metal I had laying around, this took about 10 minutes. I used an old bolt/nut and installed it. Sounds good and looks good, no problems with the bottom bracket. I have a lot of clearance above the clutch lever, unlike some other reviewers. Although I had to do some rework, the quality is good and I would still buy it again for the price.
