Not the best in practice in tie-downs
Although the belt actually fits the rear wheel of my 12 z1000 and this is where it becomes unusable as my bike has a dual exhaust that interferes if it reaches too far fasten it. The strap might work on bikes with a single exhaust, or better yet under a rear exhaust, but not like mine.
