Not silver plated? Feeding

This spoon came in a small sealed plastic bag that said 'Baby Giraffe Feeding Spoon'. There was no brochure or product information from Reed & Barton. There is no box. No presentation. While the back of the spoon says "Reed & Barton," there's no indication that it's a silver plate. I went to the Reed & Barton (now part of Lenox) website and checked out their baby spoons. The giraffe spoon is no longer among them. Maybe it was an older copy? Current spoons in this price range are actually nickel-plated. This leads me to assume that this spoon is not silver-plated but nickel-plated. It's quite a nice spoon and would make a good gift but I still believe in truth in advertising. Shouldn't this spoon come with a Reed & Barton insert to show it's silver plated? There may have been an older version with silver plating, but I don't think it's that!
