Everything was fine with the order and the spoon is fine

Everything was fine with the order and the spoon is fine. But in real life it didn't look so clear. It took a little effort to realize that it was actually a giraffe.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Waited a long time

wonderful care keepsake

My little one has been busy with giraffes, it was perfect for us. We didn't use it for feeding, but kept it in the display case. It's beautifully detailed and it's definitely something we'll be passing on to her.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • A long time ago

Not silver plated? Feeding

This spoon came in a small sealed plastic bag that said 'Baby Giraffe Feeding Spoon'. There was no brochure or product information from Reed & Barton. There is no box. No presentation. While the back of the spoon says "Reed & Barton," there's no indication that it's a silver plate. I went to the Reed & Barton (now part of Lenox) website and checked out their baby spoons. The giraffe spoon is no longer among them. Maybe it was an older copy? Current spoons in this price range are actually…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
