Review on 🏢 Enhanced ProValu Wire Dog Crate: Superior Precision and Quality by Brenda Black

Last year we adopted a 5 month old American Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and purchased a Precision Pet 'ProValu' 2 Door Cage (4000 Series). Our pup is now 18 months old and has outgrown the 4000 series cage. So we decided to look at something larger (like the 5000 series) and we knew we liked the Precision Pet "ProValu" cage so we compared it. all other boxes. The steel is coated so we couldn't see any rust on it like reviewers have noted on some competing products, and we liked the double door idea. We were happy to see that it came with a single locking mechanism instead of top and bottom locks on each door. For security reasons we have a small lock and as long as you put it through the handle and vertical bar of the cage (we don't actually lock the lock) it will prevent the pup from opening the cage door from the inside. The new 5000 series allows the dog to lie down fully without feeling hunched over and sit up straight without leaning forward. We hope she grows to full size so this will be the last cage we get her. The door is only closed at night or when we are not there during the day, the rest of the time it is open and it likes its "place".
