Cleans the floor and grout lines!

I just bought this car and I love it! I have an elderly dog who unfortunately suffers from urinary incontinence. Poor baby goes for a walk and doesn't realize he's still dripping. Luckily I have tile floors on the first floor of my house but I have to wash them at least once a day if not twice a day. As you can imagine, I am very tired of washing the floors, especially the seams, every day. So I was looking for a new method and came across this bad boy! I tried its predecessor and wasn't impressed, but after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. I won't lie, it took a lot of trial and error to find the perfect method. When I first used it I wasn't very impressed, I just didn't feel like it was doing anything. The second time I used a different floor cleaning solution. Again I wasn't thrilled. Finally I decided to try again. I sprayed Clorox urine stain and odor remover on the tiles, making sure to spray the grout lines as well, then applied the grout with Hoover FloorMate and cleaned the floors and grout. I do a 4 x 1 foot pass. area twice. (Spray the solution, vacuum the dirty water, spray the rinse solution, vacuum the moisture and remaining dirt, and move on to the next row). I usually work in a 4 x 4 foot area and each area takes about a minute and a half for each area. The solution in the tank is a teaspoon of bleach and water. Finally, when for some reason I apply too much solution to the area, I use the vacuum's dry mode to suck up the remaining solution, but in most cases I don't need it. For cleaning the entire upper floor with an area of approx. 450 sqm. Feet takes about 40 minutes. If I had done a quick non-chlorox cleaning beforehand, it would probably have taken me about 20 minutes. This method cleans my floor perfectly. The first is to get rid of the smell. Second, it picks up dirt and collects dog hair. Third, leaves the floors sanitized. Fourth, the grout is nice and clean, not dirty at all (actually, the brushes seem to clean the grout, maybe not perfectly, but good enough that you don't have to clean them every week like I've done before. Now, I steam those Only do grout every six months and the Hoover FloorMate keeps them relatively clean until the next deep clean Fifth, there's no dust Sixth, I can do this every day without straining my back or hurting my knees Seven, no more dirty water up my bottom. Eight, no pre-vacuum required. I have few complaints. Firstly, it fills up fairly quickly and I have to refill the water tank, usually 3 times per session. Also, it doesn't seem to be very well balanced and fell over several times after using it to refill/empty the tanks. The cleaning solution provided is totally useless. There also seems to be a little during one section leaving a puddle at your feet but I usually soak up the puddle when I start the next segment but the result is I get my sock wet once or twice which is annoying. All in all I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who wants to keep their floors and especially the grout between the tiles clean! I am very glad I bought this product and will do so again in the future.
